Lot 284:
Steel Detachable Magazine for SKS Rifles 7.62x39mm
Sold for: $45
Description
This is a single high-capacity detachable magazine designed for SKS pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm. Constructed of stamped steel with a blued finish, the magazine features a curved body with five horizontal reinforcing ribs. It is equipped with a vertical feed tower and a prominent forward latching lug, commonly referred to as a duckbill adapter, which allows the magazine to be used in SKS rifles that have been configured to accept detachable magazines. No manufacturer markings, serial numbers, or caliber designations are visible on the magazine body or floorplate.
Condition report:
The magazine is in good used condition. The blued finish exhibits thinning and wear along the edges, contact points of the feed tower, and the floorplate. There are minor scratches and scattered surface oxidation consistent with normal use and storage. The internal spring appears to have adequate tension and the follower moves freely within the body. We have not function-tested this item with live ammunition.
