Description

This lot features 80 rounds of .30-06 SPRG ammo on enbloc clips, consisting of M2 Ball ammunition produced by the Hellenic Cartridge Company of Greece. The cartridges are organized into ten steel en bloc clips, each holding eight rounds for rapid loading into an M1 Garand rifle. The ammunition is constructed with boxer-primed brass cases and copper-jacketed lead core bullets. Identified as HXP surplus by the notations on the packaging, these rounds are recognized as high-quality military surplus suitable for both collectors and target shooters. The en bloc clips are manufactured from stamped steel with a non-reflective dark grey Parkerized finish and show typical signs of handling. The brass cases exhibit characteristic tarnish and minor surface discoloration consistent with aged military surplus storage, while the projectiles remain in good condition with minor surface patina.

Condition report:

The ammunition and clips are in good surplus condition. The brass cases show age-related tarnish and minor surface discoloration but no signs of significant corrosion or structural failure. The copper-jacketed bullets are generally clean with occasional light patina spots. The ten stamped steel en bloc clips retain the majority of their dark grey Parkerized finish, displaying light scuffing, minor scratches, and small localized spots of surface rust consistent with long-term storage and handling. The ammunition appears to be original live military surplus.
