Lot 330:
Sold for: $275
Description
This FEG P9R is a double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Parabellum, featuring a design influenced by both the Browning Hi-Power and Smith & Wesson second-generation pistols. The firearm is equipped with a 4.6-inch barrel and a blued steel slide and frame. The furniture consists of two-piece checkered wood grip panels and a serrated backstrap integrated into the frame. Sighting is provided by a fixed front blade and a notch rear sight. The slide features a manual safety and decocker lever on the left side. Key markings include the model and manufacturer on the left side of the slide, which reads P9R Cal. 9mm PARABELLUM and Made by FEG HUNGARY. The right side of the slide is marked with the importer information C.A.I. ST. ALB. VT. and the serial number R 54859 is visible on the right side of the frame, slide, and barrel. One detachable box magazine is included with the lot. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in fair to good condition. The blued finish shows significant thinning and wear, particularly at the muzzle end of the slide and along the sharp edges of the frame. There is evidence of light surface pitting on the slide and scattered handling marks and scratches throughout the metal surfaces. The checkered wood grips are in good condition with minor dings and some flattening of the diamonds but remain structurally sound. While the bore was not inspected, the action appears to function correctly and the magazine seats and releases as intended.
