Description

This lot comprises 120 rounds of 7.62x25mm Tokarev pistol ammunition, a caliber utilized in various Eastern Bloc sidearms and submachine guns. These cartridges are brass-cased with full metal jacket projectiles and represent Polish military surplus production. Transcribed headstamp markings include the factory code 11 for Zaklady Metalowe Mesko along with various year stamps such as 59, 61, 62, and 63. The collection is organized within an orange translucent plastic Midway-brand ammunition box and an original, heavily worn cardboard box. Verbatim markings on the cardboard box include 7,62 mm naboje pistoletowe and 70 szt., alongside a handwritten caliber designation of 7.62 x 25 and a vintage price tag of $50.00. The cartridges exhibit surface tarnishing and oxidation consistent with military surplus of this age.

Condition report:

The ammunition shows signs of age-related oxidation and surface tarnishing on the brass cases and projectiles. While the rounds appear to be live and intact, they are sold as surplus components and have not been function-tested. The orange plastic storage box is in functional condition. The original cardboard box is in poor condition with significant tears, missing flaps, and overall structural fragility.
