Description

This roller-locked semi-automatic pistol is a Czechoslovakian Vz. 52, more commonly known as the CZ-52, chambered in the potent 7.62x25mm Tokarev cartridge. The firearm features a 4.7 inch barrel and operates on a unique roller-locking short recoil system. The exterior surfaces are finished in a durable gray parkerized coating, complemented by dark brown, horizontally ribbed bakelite grip panels. The pistol is equipped with fixed blade front and notch rear iron sights. This lot includes the pistol, two 8-round magazines featuring four slanted witness slots, a steel loop-handle cleaning rod, and a tan leather flap holster. Matching serial numbers are present on the top of the slide, the left side of the frame, and the barrel hood, transcribed as LB 10564. Additional prominent markings include the code rid on the left side of the frame, while the right side displays a circular C5 proof mark, an X54 production date code signifying manufacture in 1954, and an import stamp reading INTRAC KNOX.TN CZ-52 CZECH REP 7.62×25. The barrel hood also displays a T in a circle proof. The interior of the holster flap is stamped with the crossed swords military acceptance mark, OTK, S-6, K.K.V., and the date 1953. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The pistol is in very good military surplus condition, retaining a high percentage of its gray parkerized finish with standard thinning and wear visible on the slide serrations, edges, and high points of the frame. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bakelite grips are in good condition with minor handling marks and light surface scratches. The leather holster remains supple with clear markings, showing typical signs of service use and minor age-related darkening. The magazines and cleaning rod show light surface wear consistent with age.
