Lot 352:
Swedish Military m/94 200-Round Sealed Battle Pack Ammunition 6.5x55mm
Sold for: $250
Description
This lot consists of one factory-sealed 200-round battle pack of Swedish military 6.5x55mm ammunition, specifically designated for sharpshooter or sniper use. The cartridges are housed in a heavy-duty, olive-drab waterproof vinyl pouch featuring integrated carrying handles and a reinforced seal intended for long-term storage and field transport. The exterior of the pouch is marked with two distinct labels providing technical specifications. A yellow adhesive label is printed with 6,5 mm, sk ptr m/94 prj m/41, and Prickskytte 200 st, which translates to 200 rounds of sharpshooter ammunition utilizing the m/41 spitzer projectile. A secondary white label provides an English translation, reading 200 round battle pack and 6.5×55 M/94 prj m/41. This ammunition is highly prized by collectors and marksmen for the exceptional quality and precision associated with Swedish military surplus, particularly when used in the m/41B sniper rifle or m/96 Mauser. The package remains factory sealed, ensuring the brass-cased cartridges have been protected from environmental exposure.
Condition report:
The battle pack is in good, factory-sealed condition. The olive-drab vinyl pouch exhibits minor shelf wear, light surface soiling, and typical wrinkling from storage. The yellow label is well-adhered and remains clear and legible. The white label shows significant fading and some material loss to the edges, though the primary text remains discernible. Because the package remains hermetically sealed, the internal ammunition has not been inspected but is presumed to be live, clean, and in serviceable condition.
