Description
This set comprises two US military chemical protective overgarments from the Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) program. The set contains one coat and one pair of trousers, both of which are original factory-sealed, vacuum-packed items in olive drab plastic bags. The garments feature an outer shell composed of 50 percent nylon and 50 percent cotton.
The coat is sized Large/Long. Printed markings on the bag include National Stock Number 8415-01-453-0005, Contract Number SPM1C1-03-D-N019, Date Packaged 07-03, Manufacture Date 05-08, and Inspection Date 05-13.
The trousers are sized Large/Regular and are identified as Near Flame Resistant (NFR). Markings on the bag include Stock Number 8415-01-552-9975, Contract Number SPM1C1-07-D-N010/0015, Packaged 03/08, Manufacture Date 12/07, and Inspection Date 12/12.
Due to the opaque nature of the packaging, the specific camouflage pattern, typically M81 Woodland or 3-Color Desert, cannot be determined. The bags feature printed instructions for proper use alongside additional protective gear including a mask, gloves, and footwear.
