Lot 421:
A Lot of 95 Rounds of Assorted 7mm Ammunition
Sold for: $45
Description
This lot contains 95 rounds of assorted 7mm caliber rifle ammunition in various packaging and chamberings. The collection includes 20 rounds of Federal Power-Shok cartridges with headstamps marked F-C 7mm WSM, indicating 7mm Winchester Short Magnum. A styrofoam tray holds 20 cartridges with headstamps transcribed as R-P 7 M/M MAG, identifying them as 7mm Remington Magnum produced by Remington-Peters. Also included is a vintage white cardboard box containing 25 rounds, with Spanish markings including LOTE N, FECHA, MES, and AÑO alongside a hand-stamped date of 6-7 NOV 1972 and text specifying 25 Cartuchos de Cal. 7mm MAUSER. The remaining 30 rounds are loose cartridges stored in a clear plastic bag, with visible headstamps reading F M 70 and featuring green primer sealant, consistent with military surplus production.
Condition report:
The modern Federal and Remington-Peters boxed ammunition appears to be in good condition with bright, clean brass casings. The vintage 7mm Mauser box shows significant shelf wear and age, with the interior cartridges exhibiting tarnishing. The 30 loose surplus cartridges show heavy oxidation, deep tarnishing, and visible green verdigris on several casings. All ammunition appears live and is sold as is.
