Lot 420:
Sold for: $375
Description
This is a Spanish Eibar-type semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in 6.35mm (.25 ACP), a design heavily influenced by the Browning Model 1906. This example features a blowback action and a single-stack detachable magazine. The left side of the slide is marked with the designation AUTOMATIC PISTOL CAL 6- and the rear left side of the frame is stamped MADE IN SPAIN. The serial number P.7174 is located on the left side of the frame just forward of the trigger guard. The pistol is fitted with black checkered hard rubber grips that incorporate decorative floral motifs, fleurs-de-lis, and the caliber marking CAL-6.35 into the design. The firearm includes one magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in fair to poor condition, exhibiting a heavily worn finish with nearly complete loss of original bluing and a transition to a dark brown patina. Significant surface pitting and oxidation are present across the slide and frame. The bore has not been inspected. The action appears to function mechanically, though it has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The hard rubber grips show moderate wear, with a visible crack on the lower portion of the right grip panel. The magazine shows surface wear and light oxidation consistent with the rest of the firearm.
