The knife is equipped with a steel crossguard containing two lashing holes and a heavy hexagonal steel pommel designed for hammering. Condition report:
Good vintage condition. The blade exhibits visible sharpening marks along the edge and scattered scratches to the Parkerized finish from field use. The leather handle shows compression and darkening consistent with age. The leather sheath remains supple with surface scuffing and minor wear to the edges. Light surface oxidation is present on the steel pommel and some metal rivets on the sheath. The sharpening stone is intact and appears original to the set.
