Condition report:
The rifle presents in good overall condition for a military surplus firearm. The metal surfaces retain a fair amount of original bluing with expected thinning on the barrel and receiver, and some silvering on high contact points. The bolt in the white shows some light discoloration and staining but remains smooth. The wood stock exhibits various handling dings, scratches, and pressure marks consistent with service use, and the wood patch is well-fitted. The bore was not inspected, but the action appears to function correctly when cycled.
