Description

This lot consists of 240 rounds of East German surplus 7.62x39mm M43 Ubungsmunition (practice ammunition) distributed across twelve individual 20-round cardboard boxes. The cartridges feature greenish-brown lacquered steel cases and projectiles finished with a dark, iridescent black coating, identifying them as specialized short-range training rounds from the German Democratic Republic. Markings on the orange cardboard boxes are printed in German and include 20 Stuck and M 43 Ub. Stamped factory and lot codes appear in rectangular frames on various boxes, specifically transcribing as D 36, Z 52, L 52, D 94, D 91, Z 64, and D 90. Each box also features a distinctive thick black horizontal bar printed along the lower portion. The packaging shows signs of age-related handling and storage, while the ammunition itself appears to be in well-maintained surplus condition.

Condition report:

The ammunition and packaging are in good surplus condition. The lacquered steel cases are well-preserved with no visible rust or significant corrosion. The projectile finishes remain largely intact and consistent. The cardboard boxes show minor shelf wear, including small tears, softened corners, and light surface staining, but all remain structurally sound and legible.
