The rifle is in good condition, showing a well-preserved blued finish on the barrel and hardware with some thinning at the muzzle and edges. The polished receiver and bolt surfaces are largely bright with some faint scattered oxidation. The wood stock is sound and displays numerous handling marks, dings, and surface impressions consistent with military service use but remains free of significant cracks. The bore was not inspected. The bolt action cycles smoothly and the trigger pull is crisp.
