Description

This lot comprises a total of 125 rounds of 9mm Largo Spanish ammunition, distributed across five original 25-round boxes. The ammunition was manufactured by Empresa Nacional Santa Bárbara de Industrias Militares at their Toledo factory. The lot includes boxes with various 1977 loading dates stamped in Spanish on the reverse, specifically “16 ABR. 1977”, “16 NOV. 1977”, and “29 DIC. 1977”. Each cartridge features a brass case and is marked with headstamps transcribed verbatim as “SB”, “9-L”, and “77”. The boxes retain their original factory markings including “Empresa Nacional Santa Bárbara de Industrias Militares S.A. TOLEDO” and “25 Cartuchos 9mm LARGO”. Several boxes feature modern retail pricing stickers and handwritten identifying notes such as “Light,” “Tite,” and “Good” on the cardboard surfaces.

Condition report:

The ammunition cartridges exhibit visible green oxidation, or verdigris, concentrated around the primer pockets and case rims. The brass cases show typical age-related patina. The cardboard boxes are in fair to good condition, displaying varying degrees of shelf wear, edge fraying, and minor staining consistent with long-term storage and handling. The ammunition appears to be live factory-loaded cartridges.
