Sold for: $90
Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of Federal American Eagle brand rifle ammunition chambered in 7.62x39mm Soviet. The ammunition is loaded with 124-grain Full Metal Jacket projectiles, with some boxes specifically labeled as metal case bullets, all seated in boxer-primed brass casings. The cartridges are housed in five original 20-round boxes, each containing a red plastic internal organizing tray. The exterior packaging is marked with the American Eagle logo and text including American Eagle 7.62 X 39mm Soviet 124 Gr. Metal Case Bullet and product number A76239A, further identifying the manufacturer as Federal Cartridge Company. The individual cartridges are professionally headstamped with F C 7.62 x 39.
Condition report:
The ammunition and packaging are in good condition overall. The brass cartridge cases exhibit natural aged patina and light surface tarnishing consistent with long-term storage, while the projectiles appear clean and properly seated. The original cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear, including scuffed edges, minor creasing, and small tears at the tuck-in flaps. The red plastic internal trays remain fully intact.
