Description

This lot features a full box of 50 rounds of .303 British Mark 7Z small arms ball ammunition produced by Kynoch. The cartridges are housed in their original yellow and black cardboard box and are seated within a cardboard divider grid. The cartridges feature rimmed brass cases, spitzer-style bullets, and nitro-cellulose propellant. The box displays prominent markings including KYNOCH 50 CARTRIDGES S.A. BALL .303″ MARK 7Z NITRO-CELLULOSE. Text on the lower section of the box specifies that the lot was Manufactured at the Eley-Kynoch Factories of Imperial Metal Industries (Kynoch) Limited WITTON, BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND. Visual inspection of the cartridge headstamps confirms the presence of the markings K, 69, and 7Z, identifying the manufacturer as Kynoch and the production date as 1969. The ammunition remains in its original period packaging.

Condition report:

The yellow and black cardboard box shows moderate signs of shelf wear and age, including scuffing, edge fraying at the corners, and minor surface staining. The ammunition exhibits a naturally aged, dull patina. Verdigris corrosion is visible on several of the brass cases and around the primer pockets. The cartridges appear to be live and unissued, though they are sold as collectible items only.
