Description
This Hornady Custom-Grade New Dimension Series III reloading die set is designed for the 7.65mm Belgian caliber. The set comprises a full-length sizing die and a bullet seating die, specifically engineered for precision reloading of the 7.65x53mm Mauser cartridge. Markings on the front label of the red plastic storage case include Hornady Custom-Grade New Dimension Dies, 7.65MM BELGIAN, Series III, 2 Die Set, FULL LENGTH, item number 546368, and Use Shellholder # 24. A secondary handwritten sticker on the lid is marked 20 Hornady X1 7.65 Belgian. Internally, the set contains one full-length sizer die with a Zip Spindle decapping pin, one bullet seating die, one shell holder stamped with the number 24, and one dummy cartridge featuring a brass case and lead-tip projectile. The dies are constructed from steel with knurled gripping surfaces and threaded lock rings.
Condition report:
The dies and shell holder are in good used condition, showing minimal surface wear and light traces of grease consistent with light usage. The threads and knurling are well-defined and undamaged. The decapping pin is present and appears straight. The plastic case is structurally sound with minor scuffing and remains of adhesive labels on the exterior. The dummy cartridge exhibits some tarnishing to the brass but remains intact. We have not function-tested this set on a reloading press.
