Sold for: $275
Description
This lot consists of 250 rounds of M2 Ball .30-06 Springfield caliber rifle ammunition contained within a green polymer Plano Small Field Box. The ammunition is loose-packed within a clear plastic bag and consists of brass-cased cartridges topped with copper-jacketed spitzer projectiles, consistent with standard military-style full metal jacket loads. The Plano utility box, model 131250THD, features a black folding carry handle, a water-resistant O-ring seal, and a brass-plated steel latch. Verbatim markings on the top lid label include M2 BALL #250. The manufacturer’s yellow field box label identifies the product as a PLANO Small Field Box and lists various uses such as tools, hardware, and tackle. Dimensions provided on the manufacturer label are 11.63 inches by 5.13 inches by 7.13 inches. No specific manufacturer headstamps are clearly legible in the provided imagery.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in good, live condition, with the brass casings showing various degrees of tarnish, surface oxidation, and minor spotting consistent with long-term bulk storage. The copper-jacketed projectiles appear clean and free of significant corrosion. The green Plano polymer box is in good functional condition, exhibiting minor external scuffs and shelf wear but retaining a secure latch and handle.
