Description
This lot features a Remington Gallery Special collectible ammunition and playing card gift set housed in a decorative metal tin with vintage-style lithographed artwork. The set includes a total of 400 rounds of .22 Long Rifle caliber ammunition, comprised of eight individual 50-round boxes of 40-grain Remington Golden Bullet high-velocity rimfire cartridges. Also included in the set is a unique deck of Shooting Gallery themed playing cards. Technical specifications for the ammunition include a high-velocity lead round-nose projectile and brass casings. Prominent markings on the tin include the slogan Teach Them to Shoot, Remington Gallery Special, and Remington UMC World’s Standard Firearms and Ammunition. Condition report:
The set is in excellent, unused condition, remaining factory-sealed in the original clear shrink-wrap. The decorative metal tin is well-preserved with no visible dents, oxidation, or significant scratches to the lithographed finish. The internal cardboard ammunition boxes and the playing card deck appear pristine and undisturbed. The ammunition is live and appears to be in factory-original condition, with the brass cases showing a bright, clean finish and no signs of corrosion or lead oxidation.
