Sold for: $95
Description
This lot comprises eighty rounds of .280 Remington caliber centerfire rifle ammunition manufactured by Remington. Included are two boxes containing 150-grain Core-Lokt Pointed Soft Point (PSP) cartridges, labeled with product code R280R1, and two boxes of 165-grain Core-Lokt Soft Point (SP) cartridges. These rounds are noted on the packaging as being suitable for use in 7mm Express Remington firearms. Each of the four factory boxes has a capacity of twenty rounds for a total of eighty cartridges. The ammunition is constructed with brass cases and lead-tipped projectiles. Verbatim markings on the boxes include 280 REMINGTON along with the bullet grain weights and style designations. The cartridge headstamps are clearly marked R-P 280 REM, identifying the manufacturer as Remington-Peters. The ammunition is housed in original green and yellow cardboard boxes with black plastic divider inserts.
Condition report:
The cardboard ammunition boxes show signs of shelf wear including scuffing, edge wear, and some minor tearing at the corners and flaps. The ammunition itself is in excellent condition; the brass cases are clean and bright, showing no signs of corrosion or significant oxidation. The lead-tipped bullets are well-preserved. All ammunition appears to be in factory-original, live condition.
