Description

This Mint belt-fed rifle is a semi-automatic conversion of the Heckler & Koch HK21 platform chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, Scarce and highly sought after. The firearm is constructed on a 1968 Portuguese FMP-manufactured receiver and was converted for the US market by KH Arms of Colorado. It features a cold hammer-forged barrel manufactured by RCM measuring approximately 17.7 inches in length and fitted with a standard birdcage flash hider. The metal components exhibit a durable black finish complemented by olive drab green polymer furniture including a fixed buttstock with a ribbed buttplate and a contoured pistol grip. The rifle is equipped with an integrated folding bipod, a belt-feed mechanism, and a drum-style rear aperture sight. Transcribed markings include the receiver top marked HK 21 FMP 15481 12/68 and the left side marked KH ARMS Colo. USA. KAL 7.62X51 15481. The barrel is marked RCM 21E CHF 2507 7.62 NATO alongside the RCM crosshair logo. The trigger housing features S, E, and F selector markings, and the serial number 15481 is consistent across major components, indicating a factory numbers matching example. This lot includes a green metal drum magazine, frequently referred to as a nut-sack, and a 50-round starter belt composed of disintegrating links. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The rifle and its accessories are in overall excellent condition. The black metal finish is well-preserved with only minor handling marks on the receiver and light surface scuffing on the drum magazine. The green polymer furniture remains attractive with minimal wear and no significant scratches. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not live-fire tested this firearm. The folding bipod locks securely in both the stowed and deployed positions. The belt-feed mechanism is clean and the included ammunition belt links are free of corrosion.
