Description
This IOR Valdada 2-16×42 tactical rifle scope features a durable matte black finish and is designed for precision long-range applications. The eyepiece housing is prominently marked with a shield-shaped logo containing the text IOR BUCURESTI above the model designation 2-16×42 and a diopter adjustment ring marked + 0 -. On the underside of the main turret housing, the optic is stamped MADE IN ROMANIA above the serial number 03919. The scope is equipped with large, exposed tactical turrets for elevation and windage, with both indicating 1 click = 0.1 mrad. The elevation turret includes a set 0 stop feature and a locking collar labeled with lock in red and unlock in green. A side parallax adjustment knob is located on the left side of the turret housing, and the magnification adjustment ring is scaled from 2 to 16. The internal first focal plane reticle is a complex tactical design featuring a center crosshair with mil-hash increments and a Christmas tree style holdover grid for windage and elevation corrections. This optic comes mounted in a pair of heavy-duty black aluminum rings and includes protective lens covers secured by an elastic strap.
Condition report:
The scope is in very good overall condition. The matte black finish remains largely intact with only minor surface scuffs and signs of handling consistent with light use. The optical glass is clear and bright with no visible scratches or internal debris. All mechanical adjustments, including the magnification ring, turrets, and diopter, function smoothly with positive, tactile clicks on the turrets. The locking elevation turret operates correctly. The mounting rings and hardware are in good condition with no stripped heads.
