Description
This is a Browning A-Bolt Medallion bolt action sporting rifle chambered for the .300 Winchester Short Magnum (WSM) cartridge. The rifle is configured for long-range hunting and features a high-polish blued finish on the receiver and tapered barrel. The stock is constructed from high-gloss finished walnut with fine-line checkering on the forend and pistol grip, accented by rosewood-style caps on the forend and grip cap. Key markings include the serial number 25713MZ351 on the left side of the receiver and a small NP proof mark on the right side. Barrel markings specify BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU on the left side and PAT. 4723369 A-BOLT CAL. 300 WSM ONLY on the right side. This firearm is equipped with a Leupold VX-II 3-9x40mm scope mounted on two-piece bases, with optic markings including LEUPOLD, MADE IN USA, and the number 216100K. Additional features include a gold-toned trigger, a top-tang safety, a hinged floorplate magazine with the Browning Buckmark logo on the trigger guard, sling swivel studs, and a factory black rubber recoil pad marked BROWNING. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal finish retains nearly all of its original high-polish bluing with only a few negligible handling marks on the barrel and receiver. The walnut stock is in very good condition, exhibiting the typical vibrant gloss finish of the Medallion series with only minor superficial dings and light scratches consistent with careful field use. The checkering remains sharp and well-defined. The bolt action appears to function correctly and smoothly, and the trigger pull is crisp. The Leupold optic features clear glass and the adjustment dials function properly. The bore appears bright with strong rifling, although we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
