Description
This lot features 200 rounds of Winchester Super Speed .22 Long Rifle Hollow Point ammunition, contained within four original cardboard boxes. Each box contains 50 long-range rimfire cartridges featuring nickel-plated cases and copper-plated hollow point bullets. The boxes are prominently marked with the manufacturer and model designation WINCHESTER SUPER SPEED 22 LONG RIFLE H. P. and specify 50 LONG RANGE RIM FIRE CARTRIDGES. Additional verbatim markings on the front panels include STAYNLESS, KOPPERKLAD, and MADE IN U.S.A. The end flaps display a large red W logo and are printed with SUPER SPEED 22 LONG RIFLE HOLLOW POINT. Each cartridge base is impressed with a capital H headstamp. This collection of 200 rounds of ammunition is presented in its original retail packaging, showcasing the period graphic design of the Winchester brand.
Condition report:
The four cardboard boxes exhibit varying degrees of shelf wear, including corner fraying, edge scuffing, and light surface staining. One box shows a significant area of surface paper loss on the front graphic panel. The ammunition itself is in excellent condition, with the nickel-plated cases retaining a bright finish and the copper-plated bullets showing minimal age-related oxidation. All cartridges appear to be live and unissued.
