Description
This is a Springfield Armory GI Champion Mil-Spec semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, configured as a mid-sized 1911-style sidearm. The pistol features a 4 inch barrel and a matte black Parkerized-style finish across the slide and frame. The furniture consists of two-piece checkered wood grip panels featuring inset U.S. medallions. Sighting is provided by a fixed blade front sight and a notch rear sight. Key markings include the model and caliber designation CHAMPION CAL .45 on the left side of the slide and SPRINGFIELD ARMORY on the right side. The right side of the frame is marked S.I. GENESEO IL USA, MADE IN BRAZIL-IMBEL, and bears the serial number WW106602. The barrel is stamped S.A. .45 AUTO visible through the ejection port. This lot includes the original green plastic Springfield Armory hard case with a matching serial number label for model PW9142LP, two single-stack magazines, a black polymer holster, a black polymer double magazine pouch, a cleaning rod with brush attachment, and a small bag of accessories. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol retains a high percentage of its matte black Parkerized finish, showing minor wear on the high edges and light handling scratches on the slide. The wood grips are in excellent condition with sharp checkering and no notable dings. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The magazines, polymer accessories, and matching hard case show light use.
