Description
This is a walnut competition-style stock designed for a bolt-action target rifle. The internal action area features light-colored glass bedding and is stamped with the serial number 2790. The stock is characterized by its vertical pistol grip and wide forend, both of which feature extensive stippling for improved handling and grip. A black metal accessory rail is mounted on the underside of the forend for the attachment of specialized shooting accessories. Key markings include two Finnish decals on the right side of the buttstock: a yellow decal reading Porin Prikaati Säkylä SM-96, signifying the Pori Brigade and the 1996 Finnish Championships, and a green and white decal reading HÄMEEN RYKMENTTI for the Häme Regiment, featuring a lynx insignia. The butt is finished with a black rubber recoil pad.
Condition report:
The walnut stock is in good overall condition, showing minor surface wear, light scratches, and small dings consistent with field use and competition. The wood remains structurally sound with no visible cracks or repairs. The stippled grip and forend panels show no significant smoothing. The internal glass bedding is intact with some light staining. The metal accessory rail and the rubber recoil pad are securely attached and show only minor handling marks.
