Description
This lot consists of two silver bullion rounds featuring the World Commerce and Trade design. The obverse of each round depicts a muscular figure holding a globe, surrounded by the inscriptions SILVER SUPPORTS THE FORTUNES OF THE WORLD and WORLD COMMERCE AND TRADE. Additional symbolic elements on the obverse include a balance scale, a sailing vessel, a drafting compass, and an airplane. The weight and purity are explicitly marked as ONE TROY OUNCE and .999 FINE SILVER. The reverse features a central globe encircled by a wreath and various international landmarks and symbols, including the United States Capitol, Canada’s maple leaf, France’s Eiffel Tower, the Star of David for Israel, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa for Italy. The outer border is inscribed with INTERNATIONAL TROCAR, INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE, and the word for silver in multiple languages: SILVER, PLATA, SILBER, and ZILVER. Both rounds feature reeded edges. No maker’s mark or mint mark is visible.

Condition report:
The rounds are in varied condition. One round remains relatively bright with light surface scratches and minor handling marks. The second round exhibits significant dark brown and golden toning and heavy oxidation across both faces and the reeded edge.
