Description
This single-action Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk revolver is chambered in .44 Magnum and is equipped with a 7.5-inch barrel. The firearm exhibits a deep high-polish blued finish on the barrel, frame, and its distinctive non-fluted cylinder. It is fitted with smooth hardwood grips inset with silver-colored Ruger eagle medallions and features a square-back trigger guard designed to aid in recoil management. The revolver is equipped with an adjustable rear sight and a ramped front sight. Primary markings include the left side of the frame stamped RUGER .44 MAGNUM CAL. over NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK and the right side of the frame bearing the serial number 84-09617. The top of the barrel is marked with a two-line warning and address stating BEFORE USING GUN-READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. Condition report:
The revolver is in excellent overall condition, retaining nearly all of its original high-polish blued finish with only a very faint cylinder turn line and minimal handling marks visible. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The single-action mechanism appears to function correctly with a tight cylinder lockup and crisp trigger. The smooth hardwood grips are in excellent condition with no visible cracks or significant abrasions.
