Description
This Smith & Wesson Model 69 Combat Magnum is a five-shot double action revolver chambered in .44 Magnum. It features a stainless steel finish and an approximately 2.75-inch barrel with a full-length underlug. The revolver is fitted with black textured rubber grips featuring the Smith & Wesson logo. Sighting is handled by an adjustable black rear sight and a pinned red-ramp front sight. Key markings include SMITH & WESSON on the left side of the barrel and – 44 MAGNUM – COMBAT MAGNUM on the right side. The right side of the frame is stamped with the four-line address MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS. and the left side bears the Smith & Wesson trade mark logo. The yoke is clearly marked with the serial number DRV1601 over the model number 69. Included with the lot are a green canvas Cabelas brand zippered soft case and a black leather basketweave-pattern belt holster. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel finish is in good condition overall, showing signs of use including visible carbon fouling on the cylinder face and around the muzzle, along with faint surface handling marks and a light cylinder turn line. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly in both single and double action; we have not function-tested this firearm. The black rubber grips are in very good condition with sharp texturing. The included leather holster and soft case are in good, serviceable condition.
