Description
A pair of private issue silver bullion rounds struck in .999 fine silver. The obverse features a profile of Liberty wearing a radiate crown, modeled after the United States Peace Dollar, with the text LIBERTY inscribed at the top and the date 1985 at the bottom. The reverse depicts a central balance scale motif surrounded by the inscriptions ONE TROY OUNCE, .999 FINE SILVER, and SILVER TRADE UNIT. The rounds feature reeded edges and do not bear any visible government mint marks or specific refiner marks.
Total: 2 oz t .999 fine silver.
Condition report:
Both rounds exhibit significant surface toning and tarnish throughout. One round displays a prominent golden-brown patina on the reverse. Visual inspection reveals numerous surface scratches, contact marks, and discoloration consistent with handling and age.
