Description
This High Standard Sport-King is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle, designed for target shooting and recreational use. The firearm features a 4.5-inch round barrel with a blued finish on the slide and frame. The pistol is equipped with two-piece brown marbled checkered plastic grips that include a prominent right-handed thumb rest and eagle medallions at the base. Sighting is handled by a fixed front blade and a square notch rear sight integrated into the slide. Key markings include the manufacturer information on the left side of the frame as HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. followed by the caliber designation CAL.22 LONG RIFLE. The left side of the slide is engraved with SPORT-KING between two lightning bolt symbols. The serial number 407131 is stamped on the right side of the slide. This lot includes one single-stack detachable box magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol retains much of its original blued finish, showing signs of honest use including thinning on the high edges of the slide and frame, as well as minor scratches and handling marks throughout the metal surfaces. There is evidence of light surface oxidation within the rear slide serrations and on the body of the included magazine. The brown plastic grips are in good condition with sharp checkering and no visible cracks or significant chips. The bore condition was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly through manual cycling, although the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition.
