Description
This Remington Model 721 is a bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in the classic .300 H&H Magnum caliber. The rifle features a blued finish on the barrel and receiver with a polished bolt and is mounted with a Leupold VX-1 3-9x40mm scope with a duplex reticle on high rings. The wood stock has a smooth finish and is equipped with a brown leather sling and a White Line rubber recoil pad. Iron sights consist of a ramped front sight and a folding leaf rear sight. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation Remington MODEL 721 on the receiver and the serial number 127929. The barrel is marked REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. PATENTS PENDING and .300 H&H MAG. with a circled REP proof and other inspection marks on the barrel shank. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows moderate wear and thinning, particularly on the bolt handle and near the muzzle of the barrel. The walnut stock remains sound with light handling marks and minor surface scratches scattered throughout. The rubber recoil pad exhibits significant surface weathering, cracking, and deterioration. The scope optics appear clear and the action appears to function correctly, although we have not function-tested this firearm.
