Description
This lot comprises 60 rounds of Remington Express Rifle centerfire ammunition chambered in .222 Remington. The collection is contained within three original green and yellow cardboard boxes, with each box specified to hold 20 rounds of 50 grain pointed soft point copper-jacketed bullets. Verbatim markings on the packaging include the Remington brand name, the model designation Express Rifle, the caliber 222 REMINGTON, the bullet specification 50 GR. PSP, and the manufacturer product code R222R1. The brass casings feature headstamps with the characters R – P and 222 REM. These cartridges are intended for use in centerfire rifles and are designed for applications requiring a soft-point projectile.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show signs of shelf wear consistent with age and storage, including scuffing, edge wear, and minor tearing at the corner flaps. The individual cartridges appear to be in clean, well-preserved condition with bright brass casings and no significant oxidation or corrosion on the copper-jacketed projectiles. The ammunition appears to be live.
