Description
The Stevens Model 22-410 is a break-action over-under combination gun chambered for .22 Long Rifle in the top barrel and .410 bore with a 3-inch chamber in the bottom barrel, intended as a versatile .22 LR & .410 GA combo rifle for small game and varmint hunting. This firearm features a blued barrel set and a satin-finished receiver. The furniture is comprised of dark brown mottled Tenite synthetic material with molded checkering on the wrist and forend. The sighting system consists of a fixed front blade and an adjustable rear leaf sight. Verbatim markings include STEVENS J. STEVENS ARMS COMPANY CHICOPEE FALLS MASS. U.S.A. MODEL 22-410 on the left side of the upper barrel, .22 LONG RIFLE on the top of the upper barrel, and PROOF TESTED .410 BORE – 3 INCH CHAMBER – on the lower barrel. The receiver is stamped PATENT PENDING on the left side above the trigger. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The barrels retain a moderate amount of their blued finish with visible thinning and light surface wear across the length. The satin-finished receiver shows light surface scuffing and handling marks consistent with use. The Tenite synthetic stock and forend exhibit significant surface scratching and scuffs throughout, typical of this material, though the molded checkering remains distinct and no structural cracks are immediately apparent. The bores were not inspected. The action appears to function as designed with a tight lockup.
