Description
This Rossi R92 is a lever-action rifle chambered in .44 Magnum and configured with a traditional octagonal barrel and full-length tubular magazine. The firearm features a deep blued finish across its barrel, magazine tube, and receiver. It is equipped with a smooth dark-stained hardwood buttstock and forend, terminating in a traditional blued steel crescent-style buttplate. The sighting system consists of a rear adjustable buckhorn sight and a front blade sight featuring a brass bead. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation on the top-left barrel flat which reads ROSSI R92 .44 MAG – MADE IN BRAZIL BY CBC and BRAZTECH INTERNATIONAL, BAINBRIDGE, GA. The serial number 7CR116699T is stamped on the underside of the receiver forward of the lever. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good overall condition. The blued finish remains largely intact and vibrant, showing only faint handling marks and light surface scratches on the receiver flats. The wood furniture is in very good condition, exhibiting minor dings and light compression marks primarily on the buttstock consistent with light handling. The bore was not inspected, but the exterior condition suggests the firearm has seen limited use. The lever action cycles smoothly and the sights are securely mounted.
