Description
A group of four United States Eisenhower dollar coins struck in a 40% silver composition at the San Francisco Mint. This collection includes one specimen for each year of the series from 1971 through 1974, all featuring the S mint mark. Known colloquially as Blue Ikes, these specimens were issued for collectors rather than general circulation. Each coin depicts the left-facing profile of Dwight D. Eisenhower on the obverse and an eagle landing on the moon on the reverse, a design based on the Apollo 11 mission insignia. Every coin remains sealed in its original government-issued pliofilm packaging, paired with a blue plastic token inscribed EISENHOWER SILVER DOLLAR UNCIRCULATED. The set is complete with the original blue display folders and informational cards regarding the 40% silver composition and minting process.

Composition: 40% Silver, 60% Copper (.1479 oz actual silver weight).
Condition report:
All four coins are in uncirculated condition, retaining bright original mint luster. Some minor, characteristic toning is present on the surfaces, a common occurrence for silver coins kept in the original government pliofilm. The packaging and accompanying folders show only light signs of handling and storage wear.
