Description
One antique bullnose butcher knife, likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The knife is constructed with a 10-inch carbon steel blade featuring a deep, curved belly and a bullnose tip. It utilizes a full tang design, with the steel extending the entire length of the handle. The handle consists of two wooden scales, possibly beechwood or oak, which are secured to the tang by six metal pins. This specific six-pin configuration and blade profile are highly characteristic of professional knives attributed to Sheffield makers such as I. Wilson. No maker marks or stamps are visible on the blade or handle. The item is accompanied by a handwritten collector tag noting its dimensions.
