Description
A Hamilton Watch Co. Grade 946 railroad grade pocket watch, produced circa 1905. This timepiece features a manual wind, lever set movement with 23 jewels. The movement is housed in a 4-ounce Dueber coin silver case with a hinged back cover, cuvette, and front bezel. The white enamel double-sunk dial is marked Hamilton Watch Co. in cursive and displays black Arabic numerals with red outer five-minute track markers. It is fitted with blued steel heavy railroad-style spade hands. The watch is accompanied by a wooden presentation box with an engraved locomotive illustration on the lid and a typed descriptive note detailing the technical specifications and provenance.

Condition report:
The watch is stated to be in working order and keeping time. The dial shows a small chip on the edge near the setting lever but remains free of visible hairlines. The coin silver case exhibits common minor surface scratches from handling and two small dings on the front bezel. The hinges and bow are reported to be sound.
