Description
This RCBS three-piece carbide reloading die set is designed for .44 Magnum and .44 Special cartridges and is housed in its original gray plastic storage case. The set consists of three individual dies: a sizing and decapping die, an expander die, and a seating and crimping die. Each die features a matte steel finish with knurled adjustment grips and black lock rings secured by brass set screws. Verbatim markings on the die bodies include RCBS 44 SPL & MAG. The original adhesive label on the side of the case identifies the contents as a 3 – DIE CARB SET .44 MAG/.44 SPL with part number 18612, Group: B, and a note to Use Shell Holder #18. Included in the case is an RCBS reloading dies product instructions booklet.
Condition report:
The reloading dies are in good used condition with some minor surface wear and very light oxidation present on the exterior steel bodies. The carbide sizing rings appear intact and the knurling on the adjustment knobs remains sharp. The gray plastic storage case shows minor scuffing and residue from a removed label on the top lid, while the primary identifying label on the side is clear and legible. The instruction booklet shows minor handling wear consistent with used equipment.
