A Pair of US 1881-O and 1884-O Morgan Silver Dollars

Description
This lot consists of two US Morgan silver dollars minted at the New Orleans Mint. The coins are dated 1881 and 1884 and are composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. Both specimens feature the George T. Morgan Liberty head design on the obverse and a heraldic eagle on the reverse. The O mint mark is located on the reverse of each coin, centered above the denomination. Both coins have reeded edges.
Condition report:
The 1884-O coin shows moderate circulation wear on the high points of the hair and eagle\'s breast feathers, consistent with a Very Fine grade, with light surface toning. The 1881-O coin displays more significant circulation wear and heavy dark surface toning or staining across the obverse field, consistent with a Fine grade. Neither coin is professionally graded.
