Description
This lot contains a 204 count of empty .45-70 Government mixed manufacturer brass casings intended for reloading. The collection is primarily composed of yellow brass, though at least one nickel-plated silver-colored casing is present. Headstamps include markings for R – P and .45-70 GOVT, indicating Remington-Peters, and HORNADY and .45-70 GOVT, identifying Hornady production. All casings are in fired condition, with some still containing spent primers that show firing pin indentations while others have been de-primed. This lot contains no live ammunition or projectiles.
Condition report:
The casings show typical signs of being fired, including surface tarnish, light oxidation, and minor handling dings. The brass appears structurally intact without visible splits or heavy corrosion.
