Description
This is a Browning Auto-5 Magnum Twelve semi-automatic shotgun chambered for 12 gauge 3-inch magnum shells. It is configured with a 30-inch ventilated rib barrel featuring a single silver bead front sight and a gold-plated trigger. Key markings include the model designation Magnum Twelve on the left side of the receiver and the serial number 03646 over PZ151 stamped on the underside of the receiver forward of the loading port. Barrel markings specify BROWNING AUTO-5, SPECIAL STEEL 12GA. SHELLS—3″—30, and BROWNING PATENTS, along with the attribution BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. and MADE IN JAPAN. The receiver is finished in a high-polish blue with scroll engraving and features the BROWNING name alongside a profile portrait of John M. Browning. The furniture consists of a high-gloss finished checkered walnut pistol grip stock and matching forend, terminating in a brown factory BROWNING branded recoil pad with a white line spacer. While the action appears to function correctly, we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces retain a high percentage of their original high-polish blued finish, showing minor wear on the high edges and some very light surface scratches on the receiver and barrel. The bore appears bright and in good condition. The wood furniture exhibits significant handling wear consistent with field use, including numerous visible scratches, scuffs, and small dings throughout the high-gloss finish of both the stock and forend. The checkering remains generally sharp and well-defined. The gold plating on the trigger shows minor thinning from use. The recoil pad is intact but shows some typical aging and hardening of the rubber.
