Description
This lot consists of twenty centerfire rifle cartridges manufactured by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM), chambered in .270 Winchester. Each cartridge is loaded with a 130-grain expanding Taperlok jacketed soft-point bullet. The ammunition is housed in its original red and white cardboard box with a white styrofoam internal tray. The packaging prominently displays the DWM logo and is marked as being magnum primed with a CCI logo. Key markings on the box include the model designation TAPERLOK BULLET along with 130 GRAIN EXPANDING and .270 WINCHESTER. The cartridge headstamps are transcribed verbatim as DWM, .270 WIN, and also feature the letters H and A. The brass cases show visible factory annealing at the neck and shoulder area, consistent with original production.
Condition report:
The original cardboard box shows moderate shelf wear, including crushing at the corners and visible tape residue on the side panel. The styrofoam insert remains intact but shows minor age-related discoloration. The ammunition appears to be in good, original condition with light surface tarnish and visible heat-treatment marks on the brass necks. The primers are intact and the cartridges appear live.
