Description
This Ruger Security-Six is a double action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, designed as a robust and reliable sidearm for law enforcement or personal defense. The firearm features a 2.75 inch barrel and a six-shot swing-out cylinder. The construction is of brushed stainless steel, providing high durability and corrosion resistance. It is fitted with aftermarket black checkered Pachmayr rubber grips that include the company’s signature brass medallion. The sighting arrangement consists of a fixed ramp front sight and a micro-adjustable black rear sight mounted to the top strap. Prominent markings include RUGER. SECURITY-SIX and the Ruger phoenix logo on the left side of the frame, with the cylinder face marked with an S. The left side of the barrel is roll-marked STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. and the right side is marked .357 MAGNUM CAL. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel finish is in good used condition, exhibiting minor surface scuffing, light scratches, and handling marks throughout the frame and barrel. The bore appears bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly in both single and double action modes with a solid cylinder lockup, though it has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The Pachmayr grips are in good condition with sharp checkering and minor surface dirt. Significant carbon residue and lead fouling are visible on the front face of the cylinder and around the forcing cone.
