Description

The FN America SCAR 17S NRCH is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, representing the civilian iteration of the battle-proven SCAR-H platform. This model features a 16.25-inch barrel with a 1-in-12-inch twist rate and is fitted with a factory-standard muzzle brake. The rifle is built around a black anodized aluminum monolithic upper receiver and a matching black polymer lower receiver. It is updated with a non-reciprocating charging handle (NRCH) system to prevent interference with optics or handling during firing. The furniture consists of a black polymer side-folding and telescoping buttstock that provides adjustable length-of-pull and a cheek riser, alongside a textured polymer pistol grip. For sighting, the rifle is equipped with folding adjustable iron sights mounted on a full-length top Picatinny rail, and the handguard includes integrated rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions for accessory mounting. Prominent markings on the right side of the receiver include the manufacturer and location FN COLUMBIA, SC USA, the model designation SCAR 17S MULTI-CALIBER, and the serial number H1C25932, accompanied by the FN logo and a data matrix code. The barrel is marked MP [FN Logo] 7.62 X 51MM 1/12. Included with the firearm is one 20-round box magazine, the original factory shipping box with a matching serial-numbered label, a cable lock, and the owner’s manual. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

This rifle is in excellent, near-new condition with minimal evidence of handling. The matte black finish on the receivers and barrel is consistent and free of significant scratches or wear. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The side-folding stock and telescoping mechanisms function smoothly, and the polymer components show no dings or marring. The action appears to function correctly, though it has not been live-fire tested. The factory box and accessories are in very good condition.
