Description
This lot consists of 211 rounds of Remington .22 Long Rifle Shot ammunition, contained within five original cardboard boxes. The cartridges feature crimped noses characteristic of birdshot loads. Prominent markings on the boxes include Remington Hi-Speed Kleanbore, the manufacturer product number 9322, the DuPont logo, and text specifying 50 RIM FIRE CARTRIDGES and MADE IN U.S.A. While four of the boxes display the standard red and green branding, one box features a distinct green warning label reading WARNING KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Cartridge headstamps include markings transcribed as U, F, and HI-SPEED surrounding a central U. The cardboard packaging shows varying degrees of shelf wear, scuffing, and minor staining.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show moderate physical wear, including scuffed edges, corner fraying, and minor surface staining. One box exhibits a small puncture on the front panel. The brass cases of the ammunition show a natural aged patina with varying levels of oxidation and darkening. The crimped ends remain intact and well-formed. The cartridges appear to be live, although they are sold as collectible items and have not been function-tested.
