Description
This Savage Model 110D Series H is a bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum, intended for large game hunting. It features a 24 inch blued barrel fitted with an adjustable folding leaf rear sight and a ramped blade front sight. The receiver is equipped with a Leupold scope base and houses a bolt with a knurled handle. The rifle is mounted in a checkered walnut stock with a high-gloss finish, a Monte Carlo comb, a black plastic grip cap, and a Pachmayr White Line rubber recoil pad. Prominent markings include SAVAGE ARMS WESTFIELD, MASS. U.S.A. on the right side of the receiver and SAVAGE MODEL 110D SERIES H on the barrel along with patent numbers 3,005,273, 3,103,757, 3,106,033, and 3,138,888. The barrel is also stamped PROOF TESTED CAL. 7MM REM. MAG. and the receiver carries a serial number of A493293 on the left side. Sling swivel studs are present at the forend and toe of the stock. This rifle is missing its detachable magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver is well-retained, showing minor thinning at the muzzle and typical operational wear on the bolt body. The high-gloss walnut stock exhibits scattered light surface scratches, handling marks, and a few small dings from use, but remains structurally sound with crisp checkering. The bore was not inspected, but the exterior suggests proper maintenance. The action appears to cycle and function correctly, though it has not been live-fire tested.
