Description
This is a Ruger New Model Blackhawk single-action revolver chambered for .357 Magnum cartridges. This firearm is equipped with a 6.5-inch barrel and features a traditional blued finish on the major steel components. The revolver is fitted with smooth, two-piece wood grip panels that feature silver-colored Ruger phoenix medallions inlaid at the top. The sighting system consists of a fixed ramp front sight and a micro-adjustable rear sight. Key markings include the manufacturer and location on the left side of the barrel, which reads STURM, RUGER & CO. INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. followed by the Ruger phoenix logo. The left side of the frame, positioned below the cylinder, is stamped RUGER .357 MAGNUM CAL. NEW MODEL BLACKHAWK. The right side of the frame prominently displays the serial number 32-99573. The firearm features a six-round capacity cylinder and the standard Ruger transfer bar safety system. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in very good condition, retaining a high percentage of its original blued finish. There is some minor holster wear visible at the muzzle and a well-defined turn line present on the cylinder. The metal surfaces are clean with no significant pitting or oxidation observed. The wood grip panels are in good condition with minor handling marks and small surface dings consistent with light use. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, with the cylinder timing and lockup feeling tight.
