Description
A Vortex Mountain Pass tripod system designed for use with optics and cameras. The unit features black-finished aluminum alloy legs in a four-section telescoping configuration with three flip-lever locks per leg for height adjustment. The legs utilize multi-angle pivots at the yoke to allow for various stance widths. The system includes a 2-way fluid-action pan and tilt head equipped with an Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release mounting platform and a long, rubber-gripped pan handle. A telescoping center column provides additional height and features a retractable ballast hook at the base. One leg is laser-etched with the Mountain Pass model name. The Vortex logo is present on the leg castings and locks. Included is a black padded soft carrying case with a zipper closure, shoulder strap, and large Vortex branding.
Condition report:
The item is in good used condition. Minor cosmetic scuffs and surface marks are visible on the aluminum leg sections and the mounting head, consistent with standard field use. Mechanical components, including the flip locks, telescoping center column, and the fluid pan/tilt head, appear to be intact and functional. The padded carrying bag shows light surface dust but no visible tears or significant wear.
