Description
This lot comprises 36 rounds of vintage Norma .308 Norma Magnum centerfire rifle ammunition, presented in two original factory boxes. The collection includes 180-grain Dual-Core and 180-grain semi-pointed soft point (SP) projectiles. The wood-grain patterned box is verbatim marked “norma”, “WARNING – KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN”, “.308 NORMA MAGNUM”, “INDEX NO. 179”, “DUAL-CORE”, and “180 GRAIN BULLET”. The second box, featuring a hunter graphic at sunset, is marked “norma”, “20 CARTRIDGES PATRONEN CARTOUCHES CARTUCHOS”, “.308 NORMA MAG”, “20 pcs.No. 17638”, “180 GRAINS SP SEMI POINTED”, and “11,7 GRAM BLYSPETS HALVSPETS”. Additional multilingual markings on the second box include “11,7 GRAMM TEILM. HALBSPITZ” and “11,7 GRAMMES DEMI-BL OGIVALE”. Each cartridge features a headstamp clearly marked “.308 norma MAGNUM”. The ammunition is organized within the boxes using one internal cardboard divider and one red plastic storage tray.
Condition report:
The cartridges appear to be in good, original condition and are live ammunition. The brass cases exhibit surface oxidation and tarnishing consistent with age and long-term storage. Primers are intact and do not show signs of being struck. Both cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear, including scuffing, edge fraying, and corner compression. The internal red plastic tray and cardboard dividers are intact.
